Haydn Packaging launches a new type of bidirectional slitting inspection machine

Hyden Packaging first launched the Hyden ServoTech B400HS bidirectional slitting detection machine at the 2016 India Label Exhibition, which is built on its standard unidirectional equipment.

The characteristics of this machine include a power operated unwinding and lifting device, a servo operated roll paper buffer, an independent servo operated dual axis rewinder, an auxiliary roll paper aligner, an electronically operated air expansion shaft, and a PLC control operating system with a touch screen interface. The machines displayed in the exhibition hall are equipped with the AVT Helios inspection system.

Load a roll of printed labels to be checked into the machine. When the machine is running, the label is checked by the inspection camera. When a defective label is detected, the inspection camera will stop the coil on the splicing table. Then the operator tears off the defective label and replaces it with another label. When the machine restarts, the roll of paper is reversed, and the replaced label passes through the inspection camera and stops. Afterwards, the roll was moved forward again and the replaced label was checked. If the new label has no defects, the roll inspection will continue, otherwise it will be stopped again for operator intervention. Therefore, unlike unidirectional slitting detection machines, all labels undergo 100% defect detection.
